Instant movement alert

Tow detection
The tracker's accelerometer detects when the vehicle is being moved without the engine running - like being loaded onto a tow truck. You're alerted immediately.
Unplug / power-cut alert
If someone disconnects the tracker or cuts power to it, you're notified instantly. The internal backup battery keeps the tracker alive long enough to send its last known location.
Live location on the map
Open the Erebos dashboard or app and see exactly where your vehicle is, right now. Full trip history too - where it went, when, and for how long. All plans, including free.
Crash detection
The built-in 3-axis accelerometer detects sudden impacts. You're notified with the exact time and location - useful for insurance claims and emergency response.
Jamming detection
Some thieves use signal jammers to block GPS. On supported devices, Erebos detects the jamming attempt and alerts you that something is wrong - even before the tracker goes silent.
Why a hardware tracker, not the phone app?
The Erebos Tracker phone app is great for live tracking while you're driving - but it only works when the phone is in the vehicle. For anti-theft protection you need something that's always in the car, hidden, wired to power, and tracking 24/7 - even while parked with the engine off. That's what a hardware GPS tracker does. It costs around 50-80 EUR, uses a cheap prepaid SIM, and runs independently of any phone.

Remote engine immobilization
On a Pro or Enterprise plan with a compatible wired tracker, you can remotely block the engine - preventing the vehicle from being started. This requires a professional installation with a relay wired to the engine circuit. It's a powerful last resort for stolen-vehicle recovery, but it's not part of the free Individual plan.
