This policy explains how Erebos collects, uses, and protects your personal data. We are committed to full GDPR compliance and transparency.

1. Who We Are

Erebos is a vehicle tracking platform operated by creative.artworks, based in Ioannina, Greece. We are the data controller for personal data processed through the Erebos platform. You can contact us at hello@erebos.gr or at our address: 3 Koletti St, 45444 Ioannina, Greece.

2. Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal data: Account data (name, email address, password hash) when you register; Location data (GPS coordinates, speed, heading, timestamps) from tracked vehicles and devices; Usage data (pages visited, features used, login timestamps); Payment data (handled by our payment processor - we do not store card numbers); Communications (emails and messages you send to us).

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to: provide and maintain the Erebos service; process payments for subscriptions; send important account notifications; provide customer support; improve and develop the platform; comply with legal obligations. We do not use your data for advertising purposes and we do not sell your data to third parties.

5. Location Data

Location data is the core of our service. We collect GPS position data from your tracked devices. This data is linked to your account and the vehicles you have registered. Location data is retained for 12 months by default, after which older records may be archived or deleted. You can request deletion of location data at any time.

6. Data Sharing

We share your data with the following categories of third parties: Cloud infrastructure providers (for hosting the service); Payment processors (for billing); Email service providers (for transactional emails). All third-party processors are bound by data processing agreements and comply with GDPR. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. This includes encryption of data in transit (TLS/HTTPS), encryption of sensitive data at rest, access controls and authentication, regular security reviews, and secure coding practices.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law. Location history is retained for 12 months by default. You can request earlier deletion.

9. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights: Right of access - to request a copy of your personal data; Right to rectification - to correct inaccurate data; Right to erasure - to request deletion of your data; Right to data portability - to receive your data in a machine-readable format; Right to object - to object to certain processing; Right to restrict processing. 10. Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences (such as dark mode). We also use analytics cookies to understand how the platform is used. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings. We do not use advertising cookies.

11. Children's Privacy

The Erebos platform is not intended for use by children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

12. International Transfers

Your data is primarily stored and processed within the European Economic Area (EEA). Where data is transferred outside the EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with GDPR requirements.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the platform. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
